About

Two admissions, two countries, one firm.

Founded by two professionals admitted in France and in Germany. This is not a network of partner firms. It is one house.

Who we are

Who we are

Not a network. One house.

Most firms advising across the Rhine work with a correspondent firm in the neighbouring country. FRADECO is built differently: two companies of its own, two founders admitted in both countries, one team.

That sounds like a formality and is, day to day, the difference between an answer and another question. A French subsidiary under audit that also has to report to its parent does not need someone who translates. It needs someone who knows both legal systems and answers for both.

We work in French, German and English. Where we cannot take a call straight away, we come back within 48 hours.

Susanne Wiener

“Expert-comptable” (France) · “Steuerberaterin” and “Wirtschaftsprüferin” (Germany)

Runs the French company in Paris and answers for everything that concerns clients in France, from registration through to a tax audit. Her German audit qualification is also the bridge to the parent company.

Michael Stiller

“Steuerberater” (Germany) · “Expert-comptable” (France)

Runs the German company. That is the other half of the house: questions that do not stop at the border find their contact there.

Systems

Your software. Our books.

Many international groups run one system everywhere, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo, Abas or a group solution, and post either centrally in a shared service centre or locally at the subsidiary. Both work. We keep your books in your system or in ours.

The point where it gets expensive is elsewhere. In an audit, the French authorities ask for the accounting entries file (“FEC”) in a standardised format. It has to be complete, and it has to arrive quickly. A system that runs faultlessly day to day can fail there, because the data was never structured for that purpose.

  • Reviewing the existing data and checking whether your system can produce an audit-proof export
  • Mapping the French chart of accounts onto the German one, so the “GDPdU” file carries the German account logic
  • Preparing it in the structure the authorities require, with the extraction tested and verified
  • Coordination with the system owners at the parent company, where customising often has to change
  • A consistency check on the accounting data against the criteria the inspector applies
  • Training and documentation, so that the export works next time without us

The same requirement exists in Germany under the name “GoBD”. Anyone audited in both countries needs both formats, and someone who knows where they differ.
